What is TJ's Speaker System?

This is a revolutionary all-in-one speaker system that sounds great and weighs less that 5 pounds.

The new FLAT PANEL speaker and amplification system is built using SurfaceSound™ and DML technology. Even more important than its good looks and convenient size, TJ's Speaker System provides clear and rich room filling stereo sound. Conventional speakers use directional cones to project sound which can cause ear-splitting volume for the people who happen to sit in front of the speakers and inadequate volume for everyone else in the room. However the DML technology is a clearly superior choice for sound projection to an audience due to its super-high fidelity, omni-directional sound projection as well as the fact that its flatter sound waves don't dissipate with distance nearly as much as those old-fashioned conical speakers.

In layman terms, everyone in your audience hears your message!

As small as your laptop computer...

Its Portable!

At less than 5 lbs, TJ's Speaker System can truly go anywhere. (Recommended not to be used underwater.)

Comparable in size to a laptop computer, the flat panel speaker travels well and slips easily into the carrying case. The unit can be setup in the corner of almost any room or convention hall and allows you to use the included wireless mic and/or your CD player, iPod, or Laptop.

Its easy to setup!

This isn't your home entertainment system, with cords and wires running everywhere. TJ's Speaker System is quick to setup and easy to understand.

It sounds great!

Its hard to describe in words the quality and power this small sized unit can project.

Build using SurfaceSound technology its super-high fidelity, omni-directional sound projection creates flatter sound waves that don't dissipate with distance nearly as much as typical conical speakers. So the people sitting in the back row still hear you, and people in the front are not having to plug their ears.

The unit uses 40 watts of amplification (20 watts on each channel) and can easily fill a room of 10 to 200 people!

Have you ever strained your Voice?

Is your voice important?

There may be times in your career when you have to do a lot more public speaking than you are used to. Perhaps you are doing a road show around the country preparing for an initial public offering. Or maybe you have to explain a new initiative to workers at 40 plants around the world.

If you are speaking to a large group, say 500 people or more at a time, you can count on someone providing you with a microphone and speakers, so that you can be heard without yelling. If you are talking to only one or two people at a time, no amplification is needed; you can use your normal speaking voice.

However, what do you do if you are speaking in a small room to 10-15 people? Chances are, no one thought to give you a microphone. The rooms seem too small; there aren’t enough people to warrant it. Most likely, you aren’t going to need a microphone if you are speaking to only a few people in a small room, especially if you only do it infrequently. But if you are speaking frequently, say 2-3 times a week or more, you can strain your voice, even if you are breathing and articulating properly. When you are speaking to more than a couple of people, you are unconsciously speaking louder than normal. In your desire to be heard by all (and to be polite) you are forcing more air over your vocal cords, thus drying them out and making them sore.

For a long time I relied on using a throat spray to keep my vocal cords well-lubricated, especially during a week when I was giving a speech or a daylong seminar in a different city every day. But then I decided to go to the root of the problem: talking too loudly. Now, whenever I speak to more than one person for a presentation, workshop or speech, I use my own wireless microphone and speaker sound system.

Now, it doesn't matter how many days in a row I have to speak, my voice never tires because I never have to raise my volume above my normal speaking voice. If you plan on doing more speaking in a concentrated period of time, this investment in your voice will be well worth it.
